Our Company History
Oxbury Group started way back in 1996 as an off-shoot internet service provider in Peterborough Ontario named Cyber Systems reselling the fastest internet service in the city at 56kbps!. Noticing a greater need with our clients for client services we then changed names to Cimco Computers and moved into computer hardware sales and service. A few years later we branched out online and as the computer hardware sales industry turned to the internet we were again re-branded as Nortech Canada and we ran one of the largest online hardware sales and service websites in Ontario.
After 2001 we sold our online interest and worked on a new re-brand and renewed direction moving again with the industry into managed services and networking. Since 2007 we have been Oxbury Group and we will continue to operate as such moving forward as the industry migrates from co-location data centers into the cloud and cloud managed services.
Through many names and partners along the way we have built our team of network architects and senior level engineers with many years of combined network design, data center operations and security experience. In today’s rapidly transforming technical environment, we design, build, and operate the networks, information systems, and manage the cloud technologies that help businesses and local government agencies around the globe expand reach, increase agility and maintain longevity and relevance in the marketplace.
